The Centre for Information Technology and Development (CITAD), with support from the Women in Digital Economy Fund (WIDEF), is excited to announce a training program designed to uplift girls and young women, especially those in rural and semi-rural communities. This initiative aims to bridge the digital and economic gaps faced by marginalized women by equipping them with essential skills and resources.
We are looking for:
- Girls and young women aged 18–30 from rural and semi-rural areas in Kano State, Yobe State, Jigawa State and Bauchi State.
- Women with little or no access to formal education, life skills, or economic opportunities.
- Those interested in developing digital literacy skills.
Participants will receive hands-on training in:
- Basic ICT Skills: Learn essential computer and digital literacy skills.

Eligibility Criteria
- Female, aged 18–30.
- Residing in rural or semi-rural areas of the above-mentioned states.
- Willingness to learn and actively participate in all training sessions.
- Commitment to adhere to guidelines set by CITAD during the training process.
- Must be able to communicate in English (both written and oral).
- Minimum qualification of secondary education or its equivalent.
