Girl-Led Action
Girl-Led Action is an initiative that empowers adolescent girls to identify challenges affecting their lives, conduct research, develop solutions and lead advocacy efforts to bring about positive change in their communities. The initiative promotes girls’ leadership, participation and decision-making by ensuring that their voices and lived experiences inform the issues that affect them. Through capacity building, community engagement and evidence-based advocacy, girls are supported to address challenges such as child marriage, gender inequality, barriers to education, digital exclusion and harmful social norms. The initiative recognises girls not merely as beneficiaries of development programmes, but as leaders, rights-holders and agents of change who can influence decisions and shape a more equitable and inclusive future.
