The Male Feminists Network (MFN) is an initiative that mobilises men and boys as active allies in promoting gender equality, preventing gender-based violence (GBV) and advancing the rights and dignity of women and girls. Through community engagement, advocacy, capacity building and collaboration with traditional, religious and media stakeholders, the initiative seeks to challenge harmful gender norms, promote positive masculinity and encourage men to take responsibility for building safer, more inclusive and equitable communities. Its activities include training male champions, raising public awareness and encouraging behavioural change to prevent violence, discrimination and harmful practices against women and girls, particularly across Northern Nigeria
