Centre for Information Technology and Development
is a Nigeria non-governmental organization that was established to promote democracy and active citizenship through information and communication technology in addendum to civic empowerment programs.

To empower citizens for a just and knowledge-based society that is anchored on sustainable and balanced development using ICT, capacity development, advocacy, research and partnership

A knowledge-based democratic and self-reliant society.

Raise awareness about the use of ICTs in development.
Thematic Areas
DIRAI
Promoting skills through training of various forms
- Training of Teachers and Principals of Secondary Schools
- Adolescent Girl’s Initiative for Learning and Empowerment Project (AGILE)
- Building capacity for clusters of people living with disabilities to train their members on digital technology
- Implementing the community networks programme in 12 communities across the country to enable communities lacking connectivity to build their own solutions supported by FCDO
- Presently implementing a project on Developing Young Female Digital Policy Experts with support from SIDS through APC , the project includes a research to assess the extent of the presence or otherwise of women in the leadership of digital policy related agencies in the country
