Local Rights Programme (LRP)
The Local Rights Programme (LRP) is a community-driven development initiative implemented to improve the socio-economic well-being of women, men, young people and children in underserved communities. The programme focuses on strengthening community participation, promoting women’s rights and empowerment, expanding access to education and digital technology, supporting livelihoods and entrepreneurship, and improving local governance and community security. Through capacity building, community engagement, digital inclusion and advocacy, the programme helps communities identify their priorities, develop sustainable solutions and engage relevant stakeholders to address local challenges and improve their quality of life
