As part of its circular economy programme, the Recover, Repair and Reuse Hub (3R-Hub) at the Centre for Information Technology and Development (CITAD) is starting training on Recover, Repair and Reuse. The objectives of the trading are:
- Building the capacity of participants in the safe extraction of useful components from eWaste
- Understand the value chain and trade links of eWaste
- Engage in innovative reuse of recovered components to build new devices
The course is for a duration of 20 hours (excluding Innovative Project undertaking which each participant should undertake within a duration of 16 more hours at personal pace), that can be flexible given at the rate of either 2hours per day, thus lasting a total of 10 days or four hours a day for a duration of five days
Requirements for Participation
- The Person is interested in building or enhancing a career or business In the circular economy
- Participant must be in the age range of 18-30 years all
- Must be ordinarily resident in Kano
- Must have a minimum of secondary school education
- must be able communicate in English /Hausa
