eWASTE ENTREPRENEURSHIP: CALL FOR APPLICATION

As part of its circular economy programme, the Recover, Repair and Reuse Hub (3R-Hub) at the Centre for Information Technology and Development (CITAD) is starting training on Recover, Repair and Reuse. The objectives of the trading are:

  1. Building the capacity of participants in the safe extraction of useful components from eWaste
  2. Understand the value chain and trade links of eWaste
  3. Engage in innovative reuse of recovered components to build new devices 

The course is for a duration of 20 hours (excluding Innovative Project undertaking which each participant should undertake within a duration of 16 more hours at personal pace), that can be flexible given at the rate of either 2hours per day, thus lasting a total of 10 days or four hours a day for a duration of five days 

Requirements for Participation 

  1. The Person is interested in building or enhancing a career or business In the circular economy 
  2. Participant must be in the age range of 18-30 years all 
  3. Must be ordinarily resident in Kano 
  4. Must have a minimum of secondary school education  
  5. must be able communicate in English /Hausa
