As part of its project entitled, Incubating Young Female Digital Policy Leaders for Engendering Digital Policy Making in Nigeria, the Centre for Information Technology and Development (CITAD) is organizing a three-month leadership development programme for young women. The programme consists of a two-day training programme on digital policy analysis, Policymaking voice competition, engagement with relevant digital policy-making agencies and Personal Advocacy engagement. The programme will take place from October to December
This is an invitation for interested persons to the training to apply. The training will be held in October, in Bauchi. Bauchi State. Candidates:
Must be female of the age range 25-35 years old
Must be working either as an academic in any tertiary institution, a journalist, or working in any ICT agency or a private sector
They should be ordinarily resident in either Kano, Jigawa, Bauchi or Gombe States
They must be digitally literate and have active social media handles
Interested persons can access the application link (https://forms.gle/dykDzrBYWofW8o2K7) and fill out the application form or submit a written application, providing supporting evidence that they have met the above requirements to inf@citad.org. Such applications (both online and by email) must be received no later than October 5, 2023, by 4 p.m. In submitting, candidates must include evidence of employment (employment letter, letter of endorsement by the employer or any other document to authenticate the status of employment).
