The community led by a district head, appointed by the Emir of Jama’are have the presence of some social services in the community such as central primary school Hanafari, model primary health care centre, and a community open market. Junior and secondary school, police outpost.

The community is located along Bauchi Road, approximately 7-8 km away from the town of Jama’are town, Bauchi state. It is an underserved area with low network capacity, often referred to in local development.
Major occupation: Farming is the major activity of the populace. Cotton, cowpea, peanuts (groundnuts), sorghum, millet, and onions. Amongst others, these are the major crops produced in the area. Animal husbandry like rearing of goats, rams, cattle, sheep, donkeys, and horses.
Community network management: the network centre is being managed by a committee of 13 people made up of traditional and religious leaders, security, youth and women groups.
