Hanafari Community Network Shines as Samaila Umar Selected for 2025–2026 Africa ICT Bootcamp in Nairobi

The network manager of the first CITAD’s deployed community network in HANAFARI, Jama’are local government of Bauchi state Samaila Umar won a space to attend an in-person “Blended Training Programme for ICT Network Managers in Indigenous and Rural Communities” in the Africa Region 2025–2026, scheduled for 23 February to 3 March 2026, in Nairobi, Kenya.
The Bootcamp aims to provide a space for learning, reflection, and sharing of experiences among participants drawn from 19 countries across Africa. The invite was addressed exclusively to SAMAILA UMAR who have successfully completed the online phase of the programme, consisting of five courses of four weeks each, delivered through Rhizomatica’s online learning platform.
